New Directions Homestay is walking distance from Takaka, biking distance from a vast beach, a short drive to Abel Tasman National Park and Pupu Springs. Takaka has the purest drinking water from this world famous spring.

Internship

`We are developing an internship program to introduce interested and dedicated individuals to soil health, soil management, and interpersonal communiucation tools. We share the responsibility of meals and meal cleanup. Interns will work in the Community Garden with instruction, 3 hours five days a week, and one hour in the home garden daily.

SPACES

There are multiple room options, as well as a special outside caravan. In winter, there is no outdoor tenting. We have a modest library, and there is an excellent nearby library for further gardening research. We have unlimited broadband. We have the discipline of turning our cell phones to airplane mode from 10 pm -6 a.m. and the Wi-fi is also turned off at night. The Ethernet stays on.
